MIKE CLARK (Partner)

Mike is an experienced international banker and investment professional who holds an honours degree in Banking and Finance, an ACIB professional qualification and an MBA in Finance from City University Business School in London.  

He has held a range of senior executive positions in high quality international banks in London, including HSBC, Saudi International Bank, Yamaichi Bank, Arab Bank and most recently, as CEO of QIB UK from 2007 to 2013.  

His track record includes steering committee membership on the planning and development of The Shard development in London, and the financing and development of super prime residential properties in London's Mayfair. He has also been instrumental in the financing and development of major real estate transactions throughout the U.K. - including office and mixed-use developments, student accommodation and social housing.

Mike is currently engaged in a range of business advisory, real estate, business mediation and corporate finance activities throughout the UK, and he continues to develop his long track record of building businesses and successful major investments and acquisitions.

ASH SHAH (Partner)

Ash qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992 (ACA) and is now a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) in England and Wales, from where he operates.

He joined the corporate and international tax division of Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers – PwC), in 1990.  He went on to join Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group in 1998, where he has been their Tax Director since 2005, advising on all corporate tax and international tax issues including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions, group re-structuring, controlled foreign corporations (CFC) and transfer pricing. Ash has also helped the Virgin Group to develop its tax strategy and risk management approach and has assisted in the resolution of UK and international tax disputes as well as managing global compliance. 

Ash provides ongoing strategic advice to Berkeley Assets and is a capital investor within the company.


Omar Jackson is a partner at Berkeley Assets, responsible for developing the firm’s strategy in global growth for both existing and new markets. 

Furthermore, Omar setup and overlooks the growing private client domain of the firm. From his strategy for employing talent, to visionary leadership skills, and clear-sighted business knowledge, Omar’s momentous role has seen the firm grow and expand across the globe. 

Omar has also set up and run numerous successful businesses, sourcing venture capital investments and acting on behalf of an extensive portfolio of offshore and international clients specifically regarding UK real estate. 

He has eight years’ experience in structuring individual and multi-person vehicles in order to effectively purchase asset backed commercial businesses. This has included the underlying asset selection as well as working with major UK developers in their development & bridging finance requirements.

ARCHNA CUMMINGS (Head of Operations)

Archna has over 10 years Operations & Customer Relations experience. She believes in delivering the highest standards of support to our clients both directly as well as through her management and execution of the firm’s global in house operation strategy. Archna’s role is also essential in offering support to the introducer network who work at the forefront of our capital raising endeavours.

Further to Archna’s senior position with firm, she is supported in her quest for ensuring equal opportunities for Women of all backgrounds within our firm globally. She utilises this platform to vocalise this positive and correct notion as one to be adopted by all companies in our industry and beyond. In addition, Archna ensures the operation strategy of the capital raising team is promoting an equal focus on attracting both male and female wealth.
